Terms of Service

Homeflow AI is a private household management platform that helps families and their caregivers coordinate tasks, schedules, meals, expenses, time tracking, and communications. Access is by invitation only — accounts are created by a household administrator.

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access.
• Each person must have their own account. Account sharing is not permitted.

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — household management within your authorized household. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or any part of the Service.
• Upload malicious code, scripts, or files.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Use the AI assistant to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
• Misuse the Service in ways that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you.

The household administrator is responsible for managing access and ensuring that all household members have consented to the sharing of their information within the household.

The AI assistant feature uses OpenAI's API to generate responses. While we implement safety guardrails, AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You should not rely on the AI assistant for medical, legal, financial, or emergency decisions. Always verify important information independently.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Service, including its design, software, and content (excluding user-provided data), is owned by Homeflow AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homeflow AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or any conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Portland, Oregon.
